How Inspiration is Investing in the Central Valley

Inspiration Cruises & Tours may be a global travel company with an international focus, but we’re based in Fresno, California. Alongside our efforts to manage exceptional Christian cruises and tours to some of the most spectacular places on earth, we are just as passionate about our local community here in the Central Valley.

Being a productive, supportive organization to the community is important to who we are and what we do.

That’s why we’re heavily involved in the annual Fresno/Clovis Prayer Breakfast. Every February, people of faith from across the San Joaquin Valley gather together to celebrate God’s blessings on our community and lift up our public officials in prayer. This non-denominational event dates back to the 1940s and has become one of the largest annual gatherings in this community, and as many of our speakers tell us, one of the largest community prayer breakfasts in the nation.

Inspiration’s president, Steve Dick, is involved in this event and our company is proud to be a sponsor. And due to our connection to some of the top Christian leaders and speakers in the nation, we have the opportunity to assist in securing occasional guest speakers for this event. A quick look at the last few keynote speakers reveals some familiar Inspiration clients: Tony Evans (2019), Greg Laurie (2018), Chuck Swindoll (2016), and David Jeremiah (2015).

The scheduled keynote speaker for 2020 is another Inspiration ministry partner, Pastor Alistair Begg. We worked with him last year on a fascinating Danube River cruise and Reformation tour in Europe and can’t wait to hear him again at the 2020 prayer breakfast.

Although Inspiration’s passion is bringing Believers closer to God and each other as they experience beautiful, far-flung locations via travel, we also understand the sentiment “There’s no place like home”. This is why we are deeply committed to local community service. It is our honor to participate and be an integral part of the annual Fresno/Clovis Prayer Breakfast. We love the Fresno/Clovis area and are honored to support our local community through the national leaders we help bring to this event.
