Travel Documentation

International Travel

Every person on your reservation is required to travel with a valid passport that does not expire until six months after the completion of your trip. This applies to accompanying children in your party as well. For all airline tickets purchased through Inspiration, please note that the name on each e-ticket will match the legal name from each corresponding passport. Please notify us immediately if the name on your invoice does not match the name on your passport exactly. Travelers who do not provide the required documentation will be prohibited entrance and will not be able to have their travel costs refunded, so it is imperative that you confirm these details right away. For non-US citizens, we advise consulting with your country’s embassy for specific entry requirements into every country on your itinerary.

All US and Canadian nationals visiting the UK will need to apply online and in advance for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the UK from January 8, 2025. For more information or to apply for the ETA please click here.

Additional Information

Starting May 7, 2025, all travelers in the United States will be required to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card for air travel within the country. The REAL ID Act, established to enhance national security, mandates that these secure forms of ID be used for boarding domestic flights and entering certain federal facilities. If your driver’s license or state-issued ID is not REAL ID-compliant, you will need to bring an alternative form of acceptable identification, such as a valid U.S. passport through airport security checkpoints.

What is a REAL ID?

A REAL ID is a driver license or identification card that is also a federally accepted form of identification. It can be used to board a domestic flight within the U.S. and enter secure federal facilities, such as military bases, federal courthouses, and other secure federal locations.

Do I need to get a REAL ID?

If you want to continue to use your driver's license or identification card to board domestic flights within the U.S. and enter secure federal facilities you will need to get a REAL ID. However, if you have a valid U.S. passport, U.S. passport card, military I.D., enhanced driver license, or other federally accepted identification card you do not need to get a REAL ID. Click here to learn more about REAL ID in your State.
